Digital art includes works created, transformed or presented using digital technologies. It can take the form of computer-generated images, animations, interactive installations, generative creations, virtual reality or works designed for the Internet. Some achievements only exist in the form of files or programs, while others have a physical materialization. Crypto-art constitutes only one branch of this whole: it generally associates a digital work with a token registered on a blockchain. We should therefore not use “crypto-art” as a synonym for all digital art.
