Which rider holds the all-time record of fifteen motorcycle racing world titles across all classes?
Correct answer Giacomo Agostini
Fact
Did you know?
Giacomo Agostini dominated motorcycle speed in the 1960s and 1970s. He won fifteen world titles in all categories: eight in the 500 cc category and seven in 350 cc, mainly with MV Agusta before also winning with Yamaha. At a time when drivers often competed in several categories during the same season, he also racked up numerous Grand Prix victories. The MotoGP name has only existed since 2002 for the modern premier category. Attributing fifteen “MotoGP” championships to Agostini is therefore anachronistic; he holds the historic record for motorcycle speed world championship titles.
