Which Beatles album features Norwegian Wood, where George Harrison plays sitar?
Correct answer Rubber Soul
Fact
Did you know?
“Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)” appears on the album “Rubber Soul”, released by the Beatles in 1965. George Harrison plays the sitar after becoming interested in Indian music and the instrument of Ravi Shankar. The sitar part gives the song an unusual color in British pop of the time. Other Western recordings had previously experimented with Indian sounds, which makes it difficult to assert an absolute first. The song was nevertheless one of the first major pop hits to clearly feature the sitar and contributed to rock's growing interest in Indian musical instruments and traditions.
